Parking - Limited parking will be available at the velodrome for the first people to arrive. After that, the suggested parking will be on neighborhood streets to the west of the velodrome (enter off of Austin Ave.) or on side streets on the East side of County Line Road (use caution crossing the street to the velodrome).

Awards and Prizes - 5K runners will receive a Tech-T and Erie Elf hat. Special medals and prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Medals will be given by gender three-deep for Under 15, 15-19, and then by 10 year age groups for any group represented. So, you 70+ year olds -- this is your chance. Come on out!  All runners in the kids’ race will receive a finisher medal and an Elf Hat. Plenty of other prizes will be given away from local businesses. Every runner gets a swag bag including lots of goodies, including a coupon for a free Basil Doc's pizza. Santa has promised to show up and throw down once more in the 5K. Anyone who beats Santa will get a red Santa hat (Santa was injured in 2018, but he won't be such a pushover this time. He is a lean, mean, running machine. You will have to earn those red Santa hats this year!)

Costume Contest -  What Holiday Run would be complete without a costume contest? There will be special prizes for the best costumes judged in two categories: (1) Most Aesthetically Pleasing, and (2) OMG, I can't believe (s)he ran in THAT!

Free Snacks - We will have plenty of vendors on site providing scrumptious food and beverages at the finish. Basil Doc's is providing breakfast burritos, and Kaladi Coffee Roasters is providing coffee.

Results - The 5K will be timed with disposable chips attached to your bib numbers. Results will be printed on site as well as live online.

Amenities - Boulder Valley Velodrome has an interior under the track where registration and number pick up will occur. In case of very inclement weather, most other activities will be inside as well, and runners can be inside to stay warm. If weather permits, we will be outside for the awards presentations and other festivities.

Pets Allowed/Strollers Allowed!- This is a FAMILY EVENT...bring the whole group, including grandma. ALL ARE WELCOME.
